Medical Ministry

Baptist Medical Missions International formally began in 1996. Since the first trip to Honduras, BMMI teams of physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals have made trips to 17 different countries providing much-needed medical treatment to over 100,000 patients. These teams consist of volunteer professionals who work in a variety of conditions and provide free of charge all medicines and consultations for various illnesses and diseases.

In addition, BMMI also maintains and operates several permanent medical/dental clinics in the countries of Honduras, Mexico, Bolivia, the Philippines, and Russia. These clinics provide medical/dental consultations to remote villages where these services are not available or affordable.
